Euro RSCG Life, a leading healthcare communications network, announced that David Catlett has joined the firm as president of Euro RSCG Life PR, the healthcare public relations/marketing communications unit of the agency. Catlett reports directly to Al Paz, CEO of Euro RSCG Life’s Marketing Services Group, which combines several complementary disciplines including medical education, interactive, direct-to-consumer, creative services and graphic arts units, as well as Noonan Russo, the agency’s division focusing on corporate and financial healthcare and biotech communications.“We’re thrilled to have David here to provide leadership to this very important division,” said Ron Pantello, CEO of Euro RSCG Life Worldwide. “David brings a tremendous healthcare communications background, particularly in pharmaceuticals, and he has a consistent track record of building successful teams and developing results-oriented, award-winning PR programs. Catlett comes to Euro RSCG Life PR from Ketchum, where he led the agency’s global healthcare practice for eight years and served in roles such as national healthcare director and director of healthcare client service and development during his 15-year tenure. Previously, he was a public relations and marketing communications professional in the pharmaceuticals industry for 12 years, most recently at Ciba-Geigy Pharmaceuticals, the precursor company to Novartis.
