My husband told me about the dental plan and I was very skeptical. I reluctantly went along with his decision to take the plan. I felt it was better than nothing because one of my daughters need work done right away. Her bill was $980. I told the doctor I had insurance. They said what I had was not insurance and I had to pay up front. Well, I called my husband screaming about how we wasted our money. He asked if they had told me what my bill would be after the discount. I said, what do you think? They’re going to take off more than $50.00? He said yes and I laughed at him. I called the doctor’s office back and asked for the total after the discount. My husband had the last laugh. My bill was $400 and change. I was shocked. Since then, I have given your information to a friend and co-worker who are having a ton of work done on their teeth. She has not stopped thanking me. She has saved so much money. I tell her to thank my husband.

I was one of those people raised in the 60's and 70's that only went to the dentist when in extreme pain. Sure, the words 'preventative maintenance' made a lot of sense, but weekly groceries always seemed to be a higher priority for my parents and then later, for me as an adult.
Fortunately, my teeth looked fine to the world in general. Nothing showed when I smiled, but through the years I have accumulated fillings, root canals, crowns, and even a nice piece of work called a bridge. All of these came at great expense. They could have probably been nipped in the bud if they had been caught earlier and been treated with that magical thing called “Preventative Maintenance”.
I recently had to find another emergency dentist for a toothache that brought me to my knees. It turned out that another root canal was needed. Having no option at that point, the dentist kindly did the root canal for a mere $1300! That was before a new crown was added! In tears, I went home to my husband in more pain about the bill than from my tooth.
I started researching online and stumbled across DentalPlans.com. It seemed too good to be true, so I called one of the listed dental offices. The receptionist confirmed the savings and even compared what I had just paid at the dentist across the street from her to what my bill could have been under the plan. Under Dental Plans my bill could have been right around $700.
Needless to say, I signed up my family. We have all had work done and are amazed at the savings each time. I then signed up my mom and dad, my son’s best friend and his family, and their best friends. To date, I have very happily referred 13 people to DentalPlans.com. As of right now, I see no reason why I can't have both groceries and preventative maintenance. DentalPlans.com has taken most of the pain out of going to the dentist.

During my initial dealing with Dental Plans, I was a little worried by not knowing what they would, or would not pay towards my dental care. Having Blue-Cross/Blue Shield through the government, I already knew what they would not pay. I was prepared for just about anything. I was pleasantly surprised by the savings from Dental Plans.com.
Although I paid nearly $4000.00 to have all the work done on my teeth that needed to be done, had it not been for Dental Plans.com, my bill would have been nearly $8600.00. I was so glad that the dentist that I used was one of the providers that recognized the program. I had to undergo a deep cleaning, a crown and crown replacement, fillings, extractions and an overall re-do of my teeth, through no fault other than my own. That will never happen again.
I had chosen to drop Dental Plans back in February of 2008 since Blue-Cross/Blue-Shield had come up with a bigger and better plan, and I chose to try out their service. In March of 2008, I dropped their plan and went back to Dental Plans. Just in the premiums alone I will be saving over $700.00 a year with no better coverage than what is provided by Dental Plans. I will never leave the plan as long as my dentist is a provider and stays with the program.
The Dental Plans website and e-mails keep their people informed of new and better programs to chose from, and get other people involved in the program. The site is very informative and easy, especially since I'm not the brightest star in the sky when it comes to computers.
For me, personally, I would and have recommended this plan to both family and friends. I would not hesitate to let anyone know who I chose as my dental provider. I have been extremely pleased with the way the people at Dental Plans have spoken to me over the phone and through e-mails. Their assistance is second to none and my overall experience is nothing short of OUTSTANDING. This is superb organization, bar none.

My wife and I have been with dentalplans.com for two years. Because we are senior citizens with no dental insurance, and needed more extensive procedures, we searched the internet and found your plans. I was directed to a dentist who was trained in Boston, with excellent skills. He knew of several procedures that could prevent more expensive procedures, while providing results that would extend the life of existing crowns, etc.
I recommended two friends to the same dentist because the price quotes they were getting from other dentists were very high and unaffordable. They both were able to save hundreds of dollars. In two years, I have saved $1500 on crowns alone, plus substantial savings on x-rays, cleanings, etc. Your website has immediately answered my inquiries when I've had them. We are very pleased with your service and plan to continue with our plan.

I had a painful experience - I needed a root canal and I needed it fast. The year before I was on the plan, I also needed a root canal. My dentist recommended an endodontist. He charged about $1200 and did the work in two visits. During the second visit he did not use any Novocain. I was in agony. I was not going to repeat that nightmare.
This time I was subscribed to one of the DentalPlans.com plans. A friend recommended an endodontist who participated in the plan. I had to go a bit far from home, but it was worth it. It was a virtually painless procedure, and it was done in one visit. Incredibly, I paid about $700.
I recommend DentalPlans.com to my friends. We are a family of six and it really helps keeps costs down. I haven't had a problem finding quality providers. Thank you and keep up the good work!

I'm retired, I have no dental insurance, and I was paying full rate for dental service! I ran into this discount dental plan, took a good look at it and decided to give it a chance. I got my plan and the first thing I noticed was that my own dentist was on this plan. I went there for a lost filling, got full x-rays, a complete cleaning and the new filling! I saved over $100.00 on a similar service. This is a very good plan from DENTALPLANS.COM. These are good savings we can use. I have recommended it.

I chose the plan because I know longer had a work-related dental plan. You need some type of discount plan because when you’re retired, the importance of your dental health does not stop. As long as you have teeth, you need to take care of them. So, the discount plan was the right way for me to go. I think everyone needs one. Thanks for the discounts.

I have been a member of Dental Plans for almost 3 years, and I have been very pleased with the plan. Even though it is not a dental insurance plan, it is a dental discount plan and saves me a quite a large sum on my overall bill. For example, for the work I am having done at the present time, it would normally cost me $8,005, but with my Dental Plan it will only cost me $5,073 - a savings of $2,932!!
Also, in 2005, I had some extensive dental work done which would have cost me over $3,000, but with my dental plan it only cost me $1,700 - a savings of over $1300. A lot of Dental Insurance Plans are quite expensive, unless it is through your employer. Even then, it is still quite costly. However, I am self-employed and it was always been hard to find good coverage, until I discovered Dental Plans.com.
I had been searching the internet and accidentally saw an advertisement for this plan. They have so many plans to choose from, ranging in price from $79.95 to $189.95 a year, depending on your needs. It only cost me $126 for a year's coverage & then they throw in 3 extra months for free! Also, I can receive three more months FREE for every person I send them, if they sign up.
I have found their website very user-friendly, and if and when I have called in for customer service, they have been very informative and helpful. If someone asked me, I would give this company an AAA rating and I would highly recommend them to anyone I know that is in need of some kind of dental plan. I cannot believe how many people I talk to that do not have any kind of dental plan at all and have to pay the exorbitant prices that dentists all over America charge for their services. I definitely recommend this plan to everyone because it will save them a lot of money!

Ah, the dreaded policy purchase; dental insurance. I went to DentalPlans.com, checked out the low prices, and selected a plan that was suitable for me and my son. It was easy to couple plan costs with dentist availability and location since it was all just a click or two away on the site.
The prices were low and there were a variety of plans to choose from. I am a huge internet shopper and was delighted to bypass any chitchat and hyperboles with salespeople. After selecting a dentist nearby, I took my son for his first ever, pre-school visit. The staff and doctor were friendly, patient and enthusiastic. The exam was short and sweet, and they supplied my boy with three different-colored race car toothbrushes! It was a positive and informative experience for both of us.
A few months later, mom had her x-rays and dental exam with a scheduled appointment for a cleaning and a first-ever cavity procedure. The filling due was referred to as a ‘surface’ cavity. My dentist offered to fill it without anesthesia and I accepted. He said it wouldn’t hurt! He was right. The procedure was painless, however noisy, and roughly twenty minutes after the said cavity was bricked and mortared, the rest of my teeth were spit-shined and polished; nothing like a fresh set of clean chompers.
I have always been a willful dentist-goer and fan (friends call me weird), but I find the whole experience refreshing and well, painless. I have referred two friends to DentalPlans.com and have given my dentist’s name to one person so far. My sense about this easy, user-friendly resource is that it potentially has the power to transform people’s concepts and practices of going to the dentist for the better. Two thumbs up from our household!

Hi there. I'm writing to say how grateful and appreciative I have been with the dental discount plan I purchased! My dentist is a wonderful dentist who is very experienced and gentle. He was so informative regarding my treatment plan, and with any questions I had. I have saved about $200! It beats having dental insurance because I don't always need to go to the dentist. With the dental discount plan that I have, I am able to go when I need, and not have to spend any more money than needed. It's great.
Thank you for allowing this opportunity to help many people. Your website is very user-friendly and I've never had a problem with anybody on the phone. There have been a few times that I needed to call and get information on my account or other dentists, and they were so nice. When I am around my computer, I am able to log on to my account info and see if there are any updates. I can also pick and choose which dentist I want to go to, provided they are working within the network of my discount dental plan. I liked the fact that I can choose what dental plan best suits me and my lifestyle. I am thrilled to have found this discount dental plan. I am a full-time student and haven't gotten myself stable with a consistent career as of yet, so this provided me with the dental care and prevention/maintenance that I needed.
I have found this so helpful that I have shared my experience with close friends and family. They see how easy, affordable and user-friendly it is, and some have even looked into purchasing a dental plan. I have only had to have my teeth cleaned and a filling replaced, but the money I saved with the dental plan versus full fee, was fabulous! I am due to go in for another cleaning soon. I like the fact that I don't have to pay monthly insurance costs, just to have my teeth cleaned twice a year! I love it.
Thanks again, and I hope to be a part of this during my days as a student. I'll keep informing others of how cool this program is and I'm sure some will convert!
