Can a Medicare beneficiary use a Dental Savings Plan to pay for dental?
Yes. Since basic Medicare does not cover dental except in very rare instances, you can join a Dental Savings Plan to save on your preventive and restorative dental care, such as cleanings, checkups, root canals, bridges, dentures, dental implants and much more.
Can I have a Medicare Advantage Plan and still use a Dental Savings Plan?
You cannot use dental insurance (which includes Medicare Advantage coverage) and your Dental Savings Plan for the same procedure, in accordance with insurance policy rules. But if you exceed your insurance’s annual spending cap you typically can use a Dental Savings Plan to reduce your dental costs.
Can my current dental health problem disqualify me from getting a Dental Savings Plan?
Everyone is accepted – there are no background checks or healthcare exams to join a Dental Savings Plan. And Dental Savings Plans enable people with oral health issues such as missing or damaged teeth to get affordable dental care now no matter how long they have had dental issues.
How do Dental Savings Plans differ from dental insurance plans?
You can use your plan to save on all included dental care within 72 hours of joining. There are no delays before you can save on even for the most expensive dental services. You don’t need pre-approvals on treatment, nor are there any annual maximum amounts or “caps.” You get the care that you need, when you need it, at an affordable price.
